Sign out
Signing out disconnects this TV from your Ring account — handy if you’re giving the TV away, switching accounts, or want a clean re-pair. It’s fully reversible.
Signing out doesn’t stop your subscription. Your plan lives on your Ring account, not on the TV, so it carries on either way. If you want the charges to stop, you need to cancel the add-ons in Ring — one per camera.
Open Settings on the TV.
Press Back (Menu on Apple TV) on your remote to bring out the sidebar down the left of the screen, then highlight the gear icon and press Select to open Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and select Sign out.
It’s the second-to-last row, under Privacy. The name on the right is the Ring account this TV is currently signed in as — worth a glance if you have more than one:
Delete Account sits directly beneath it and does something quite different — it removes the records we hold, and it can’t be undone. See delete your account before choosing that one.
Confirm.
This TV forgets the account and returns to the pairing screen. Your other paired TVs are unaffected — signing out applies to the one you’re holding the remote for.
To use this TV again, pair it.
Signing out clears the pairing, so getting back in means the same 8-character code as the first time — the TV shows it, and you enter it on your phone. Full steps are in pairing your TV.
