Ring camera app for Windows

Your Ring cameras,
on your Windows PC.

A Ring app for Windows. Every Ring camera and doorbell live on your PC, with floating camera windows, doorbell pop-ups, Windows notifications and Kiosk Mode. Available in the Ring Appstore.

Free for 30 days, then $1.99/month per camera. Cancel anytime.

A Windows laptop showing the Video Wall Live window: a sidebar of cameras beside nine Ring cameras live in a grid

Built for Windows.

A native Windows app. Every Ring camera live in its own window on your PC, in a grid or featured layout, with groups in the sidebar. Keep it on one monitor or spread it across two. Every feature, button by button.

Picture in Picture for Windows.

Pop any camera into its own window and pin it above every other app — Picture in Picture for your PC. It stays on top while you work, and a doorbell ring opens that camera on its own, with sound.

A Windows notification — Garage, A person was detected — with the camera open in a floating window on the desktop

Alerts, right on your PC.

Windows notifications for people, packages, vehicles, animals, motion and doorbell rings. Choose which cameras and which kinds of events get through, and they keep coming after you close the wall.

Scroll back through your history.

Recent events beside the wall, filtered by People, Vehicles, Packages, Animals and more. Play any clip, save it to your PC, or grab a snapshot from any live camera.

A desk with two screens: a large monitor filled edge to edge with nine live Ring cameras in Kiosk Mode, and a laptop beside it with a document open

Turn any display into a video wall.

Kiosk Mode fills a monitor or TV edge to edge with every camera and starts itself at login — a spare monitor or an old PC becomes a dedicated security wall. Auto-Cycle shows each camera full screen in turn. How Kiosk Mode works.

There are two ways to watch Ring cameras on a PC. One is a browser tab that keeps timing out. Ours is an app.

Common questions.

Is there a Ring app for Windows?
Not from Ring — not any more. Ring published a desktop app for Windows and Mac and later retired it; Ring’s own support site now lists it as no longer available. Video Wall fills that gap: it’s in the Microsoft Store as Video Wall Live. Install it, sign in with the email on your Ring account, and every camera appears.
Is there a Ring doorbell app for PC?
Yes, for Windows PCs. Video Wall Live shows every Ring doorbell and camera on your account live on the PC, and a doorbell ring can open that camera in its own window, with sound. It’s free in the Microsoft Store and works on desktops and laptops, x64 or ARM.
What happened to Ring's Windows app?
Ring discontinued its desktop app for Windows and Mac, and its support site says so. Copies still offered on download sites are old builds that Ring no longer supports, so treat them as what they are. Ring’s own route on a computer is now ring.com in a browser, which shows a few cameras and signs you out often.
Does it work on Windows 11 and Windows 10?
Yes. Any PC running Windows 10 (version 2004) or later, including Windows 11, on x64 or ARM PCs. It’s a native Windows app, not a web page in a frame, so it does the things you’d expect: an icon in the notification area, windows you can pin on top, Windows notifications and a startup entry.
Can I keep one camera on screen while I work?
Yes. Open a camera in its own window and it stays above every other app — a document, a call, a game — while the wall keeps running behind it. Turn on the doorbell pop-up and the doorbell camera opens by itself when someone rings, with sound; motion can open a camera the same way.
How do I sign in on Windows?
With the email on your Ring account: the app emails you a 6-digit code, you type it in, and the PC stays signed in. No pairing code to carry over from a phone. If you haven’t added Video Wall Live to your Ring account yet, the first screen takes you to the Ring Appstore to do that first.
Is it a separate subscription?
No. It’s the same Video Wall Live plan as the Mac and TV apps, and the PC counts as one of your screens. If you already subscribe, install it and sign in.
Can I put it on a second monitor, or a TV?
Yes. Drag the window to any monitor, or turn on Kiosk Mode in Settings and pick the display: the wall fills it edge to edge, hides the pointer, and starts itself at login. For a television in another room, the TV apps are the better seat: your Ring doorbell and cameras on any TV, on the same plan.

Every camera.
The big screen.

Video Wall integrates with Ring devices and is available in the Ring Appstore.
