What the Mac adds
Everything the TV apps do — the live wall, full screen, Auto-Cycle, groups, Activity, and wall widgets — plus the things a desk is for. This is the short tour; every button and shortcut is in Using Video Wall on your Mac.
Float a camera over your work
Hover a camera and click Open in New Window, then the pin to keep it on top of every app. Picture in Picture works too.
Every camera in the menu bar
Click the Video Wall icon in the menu bar for every camera and recent activity. Click one to open it; drag to reorder.
Desktop widgets
Right-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets, and add Camera or Camera Wall. Click a camera to watch it live.
Alerts with a picture
People, packages, vehicles, animals, motion, and doorbell rings, per camera — set them in Settings › Notifications. A doorbell ring can pop the camera up with sound.
History beside the wall
Click the clock in the toolbar for the selected camera's recent events, filtered by people, vehicles, packages, and more. Double-click one to play it; save any clip to your Mac.
Wall Display
View › Enter Wall Display (⌃⌘D) fills a screen with your cameras and hides the pointer. For a spare display that stays a security wall, turn on Use this Mac as a wall display and Open Video Wall at login in Settings › General.
