Audio & sound

Camera audio plays only when a single camera is full screen — never while you’re looking at the grid. That’s deliberate: a wall of cameras all playing at once is unusable.

No sound on the wall? That’s expected — the grid is silent by design. Fullscreen a camera and you’ll hear it, as long as Fullscreen audio is on in Settings.

Open Settings on the TV.

In Video Wall, open Settings from the left sidebar.

Toggle Fullscreen audio on or off.

Highlight Fullscreen audio and press Select to switch it between On and Off. The row shows its current state on the right:

Fullscreen a camera to hear it.

Back on the wall, select any camera to fill the screen — audio starts with it. Return to the grid and the sound stops.
Still silent? Check the TV itself before anything else — Video Wall plays through whatever your TV, soundbar, or receiver is set to, so a muted TV or a volume at zero silences it the same way it would any other app.

Sound is choppy or breaking up

Not the audio — it’s the video stream arriving unevenly, which you hear before you see it. Fix the feed and the sound follows. On the weaker boxes, Roku especially, the wall runs a few seconds behind live and audio makes that obvious — turning Fullscreen audio off there is a fair trade.

In the web app: Same idea in the web app — fullscreen plays sound, and Sound in fullscreen lives in Settings.

Audio is one-way. You hear the camera; there’s no talk-back from the TV. For two-way talk, use the Ring app on your phone. Event clips you play from a camera’s history carry their own recorded audio.
