Full screen: zoom and switch cameras
Select a camera on the wall and it fills the screen. Three buttons run down the right edge, top to bottom: Zoom, Picture in Picture and History.
Apple TV only (for now). Zoom, switching cameras and the fading buttons are in the Apple TV app — the Fire TV, Google TV, and Roku apps and the web app don’t have them yet.
Zoom in
Select Zoom. The first press zooms to 2×, the second to 4×, and the third returns to the whole picture. A small badge in the corner shows the zoom level.
Move around while zoomed
Swipe in any direction on the clickpad to look at a different part of the picture. Press Back to leave zoom, and again to go back to the wall.
Go to the next camera
Swipe left or right on the clickpad. You move through your cameras in the same order as the wall, and the last one wraps round to the first.
Pause the live view
Press Play/Pause to freeze the picture, and again to go live.
The buttons fade out
The camera name and the buttons disappear after about four seconds so nothing covers the picture. Press any button on the remote to bring them back. That first press only shows them; press again to use one.
The other buttons
Picture in Picture floats the camera over other apps. History opens the camera’s recent events.
Zoom makes the existing picture bigger; it can’t add detail the camera didn’t send, so 4× looks softer than 2×. On other TVs, press Back to return to the wall and pick the next camera there.
